So lets do something a bit different!!!

What does this Iwafune Shrine course have???

It has a bit of everything.

🌠1. A nice canopy boardwalk

🌠2. Huge tunnel waterfall,

🌠3. Very high viewing platform with awesome views

🌠4. Of course, this increible cave with an amazing story!!

TO FEEL WHAT AN EVENT IS LIKE, LOOK AT THIS SHORT YOUTUBE VIDEO:

https://youtu.be/vGHqoUtCyjA

“Iwafune Shrine worships Nigihayashi no Mikoto. Nigihayashi no Mikoto came to this place from the air by Ame no Iwafune. Then Ame no Iwafune became a huge rock 12m x 12m in dimension.”

THE CAVE WALK WILL TAKE ABOUT 20 ~30 MINUTES. ITS DARK AND YOU MUST HAVE SUITABLE SHOES (RUNNERS, WALKING SHOES…NO SANDALS OR HEELS).
磐船神社の敷地には大きな岩が鎮座しています。神秘的な神話の世界を想像しながら、洞窟内を散策しましょう。

WE WILLL ENTER THIS CAVE TOGETHER, ITS DARK, NARROW AND A BIT SLIPPERY BUT EVERYONE CAN DO IT!!

Since the medieval era, many practitioners of Shinto’s Shugendo sect go in the cave for training their bodies and cleansing their souls.
